Archiving Policy

Terratmosphera is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. The journal is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides secure electronic backup and long-term digital preservation for journals hosted on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. n the Publisher Manifest, this is shown.

The PKP PN uses the LOCKSS preservation framework to ensure decentralized, distributed, and permanent archiving of journal content. This system helps preserve the authentic original version of published articles and ensures continued access over time.

Through participation in the PKP Preservation Network, Terratmosphera benefits from a reliable preservation service designed particularly for journals that are not covered by other archiving systems such as CLOCKSS or Portico. This supports the journal’s commitment to permanent scholarly access and responsible digital preservation.  Please kindly refer to the high-level overview (a preliminary discussion document) for further information on the PKP PN.
