At Recent Advances in Natural Sciences, we are committed to transparency in all aspects of our operations. Produced and hosted by FLAYOO Publishing House LTD on behalf of the Nigerian Society of Physical Sciences (NSPS), our journal operates with the highest ethical standards in mind. Below, we outline the revenue sources that support the journal’s operations, ensuring its sustainability and the integrity of our editorial processes.

Revenue Sources

We generate revenue from various sources to cover operational costs, ensure accessibility, and maintain the quality of our editorial services. The following revenue sources are currently utilized:

  1. Author Fees
    As part of our open-access publishing model, we charge authors a publication fee to cover the expenses associated with the peer review, editorial process, and dissemination of the article.   2. Subscriptions
    To ensure broad access to our journal, we offer subscription options for institutions and individuals who wish to receive print copies or additional online content. 

  3. Advertising
    The journal accepts advertisements from institutions, academic services, and companies that align with the mission and scope of Recent Advances in Natural Sciences. All advertisements are reviewed to ensure their relevance and adherence to our ethical standards.

  4. Reprints
    We offer reprints of articles or entire issues to authors, research institutions, and organizations for wider distribution and promotion of published research.

  5. Organizational Support
    Support is also provided by NSPS and other professional organizations that align with the journal’s mission to advance the physical sciences.

Editorial Independence

We would like to assure our stakeholders that our revenue model does not influence editorial decision-making. Our editorial process remains independent and is solely guided by the quality, originality, and scientific merit of the submissions. As such:

  • Editorial Integrity: The publication fees or other revenue sources do not impact our editorial decisions.
  • Unbiased Peer Review: All submissions undergo rigorous peer review, conducted under the responsibility of NSPS. The peer review process is impartial and ensures that only scientifically sound articles are published.
  • No Financial Influence: Author fees, subscriptions, and other revenue sources are strictly separated from the editorial and peer review process to ensure transparency and fairness in all decisions.
